Splash Blankets are designed with a built-in waterproof layer, ensuring protection and absorbency on both sides. This layer is made from 100% recycled Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) — a durable, non-toxic, BPA-free, and food-grade safe material that contains no chemicals known to affect the endocrine or hormone system.

Care Instructions: 
To maintain your Splash Blanket’s quality, follow these washing instructions:
Machine Wash: Wash regularly with towels or sheets on a fast spin cycle.
Water Temperature: Choose cool or warm water; avoid hot washes.
Drying: Tumble dry for no longer than 30 minutes or line-dry in sunlight. Over-drying may damage the waterproof layer.
Stain Removal: Use gentle, eco-friendly stain removers; avoid bleach and fabric softeners.
Note: Washing on a delicate cycle or failing to dry properly may result in a scent or damage to the waterproof layer.

What Makes It Waterproof?
Splash Blankets are engineered with a 100% recycled Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) waterproof layer, making both sides fully waterproof and absorbent. The TPU layer is bonded within the blanket, ensuring leak-proof protection without compromising comfort. BPA-free, non-toxic, and food-grade safe, this material ensures safety alongside high performance.

Important Notes:
- Over-drying in the tumble dryer (more than 30 minutes) may melt the waterproof layer, causing the blanket to become less effective and crunchy.
- Regular machine washing may cause general wear and tear, but most Splash Blankets remain waterproof for several years. Some may lose effectiveness after 12 months of heavy use.
- Color variations may occur due to screen settings, so the actual blanket may appear lighter or darker than it does online.
- Some styles have the waterproof layer bonded to the fabric, while others feature separate layers. Both are equally effective.
